Moving, just keep moving

I'm hoping to buy a house.
I say hoping as it is a process that frightens the life out of whilst simultaneously i find thrilling. Living in South London the housing market has been impossible to crack for me, a woman looking to buy on her own. Despite working in IT, my salary has never been enough to enable me to buy a flat on my own in the current climate and i *really* don't want to buy a bedsit!

Blogging or boring?

Blogging is a funny activity.
I am thoroughly enjoying writing this although am concerned that none of my posts link with the others. I suppose that this is a fear that most bloggers without a particular purpose have. I am sure that at some point some theme will cut a swathe through my ramblings and make sense of it all.

Reading material

I love reading.
Whenever i start reading a good book i turn into my father - i get 'deaf ears' and do very little else until the book is finished. It becomes quite an obsession!
I've been reading Sherlock Holmes recently having been lent a copy that was printed in 1912. The Art Nouveau embossed green fabric cover and the illuminated text within has just added to the books' charm. The epic themes woven into the story The Sign of the Four have blown me away. Thrown from moments of tender love to imagining a malillminated corpse from recognisable London to remote parts of an emerging U.S.
I can't wait to read more!

Monday Morning

At work and thinking of owning my own house. Can't wait to make it a reality. It's looking like i might have to consider buying further afield if i am to realise this.

Happy Days

Sometimes that is enough!
